The Books listed in these pages are of varying degrees of value. Some are of extreme importance, and we highly encourage you to purchase and read them. Others are interesting, and helpful, and may be worth either purchase or borrowing from the local Library. In some cases, we list books that have been important to us in our own education and theological formation; in other cases, we list books with which we have wrestled and with which one or both of us might still seriously disagree.

Many, but not all, of the books listed in these pages may be purchased on-line from Amazon.com.  We would however appreciate it if you would order these and any additional books from Amazon.com  through our site as this is the only way we have for paying for ESRI.  Those books that are out of print may be located through various used-book locator sources. One of our favorite sources for out of print books has been Steel's Used Christian Books in North Kansas City, Missouri. Check out their site ... they really have an excellent collection, and if they don't have the book you're looking for now, they can find it.

If you have a book which you think we should read, please feel free to send us some bibliographic information on it and a synopsis of what it's about. If you would like more information on any of the books listed in these pages, please feel free to email.

Grace and Peace,
