Currently we have two very fine articles on the Kenosis linked.
Both are off-site and will require use of your browser to return to ESRI.
Dan Musick's
Kenosis - Christ "emptied Himself" (Philippians 2:7)
It is not uncommon to hear godly radio and television speakers, pastors and
teachers teach that Jesus "emptied Himself of His divinity" or His deity,
or that He "abandoned a sovereign position." It has also been said, "When He
left heaven and came to this earth, He gave up the voluntary use of His divine
attributes." And another has written, "Jesus restricted the use of
these divine attributes when he took on the form of man."
